Integrating Language and Literature Volume 1

Integrating Language and Literature uniquely combines the study of literary genres of poetry, prose and drama with the English language in an interdisciplinary approach that develops literacy across a variety of text types.

Based on the English Language Syllabus 2010 by the Ministry of Education, Singapore, this series allows students to explore traditional and non-traditional, literary and non-literary text types via scaffolded creative writing tasks. Students engage in drama-based collaborative performances and develope their capacity to handle sustained critical responses in passage- and essay-based questions.
